PLEASE HELP US TO RAISE FUNDS Our 40th reunion is all about being together. It's about meeting up with old friends and remembering people and events that helped shape who we are today. It's about celebrating our part as alumni in the oldest public high school in western Canada. And it's about contributing to keeping the Vic High tradition strong for the next generation of students. But this all takes money. Specifically, we need money to:
1.	Keep our class reunion affordable so that as many grads as possible from the Class of ’70 can attend without putting undue hardship on the family budget;
2.	Make the reunion memorable and fun by being able to kick up our heels with a live band on Friday night, inviting our teachers to come as our guests, and adding a few other special touches; and
3.	Make a legacy contribution from the Class of '70 to the Vic High Alumni Association to be used to support many valuable programs for current Vic High students. Can you help us reach these goals? Here's some ways that you can join us in raising funds. THE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM For those who find it easiest to simply write a cheque, we are pleased to offer three levels of cash sponsorships: BRONZE ($200), SILVER ($300) and GOLD ($400). For all donations of $200 or more, you will receive two tickets to the Friday Gala, the Saturday event at Vic High, recognition in the printed program, and of course, the heartfelt thanks of your fellow grads. We are also pleased to offer a PLATINUM sponsorship for classmates who prefer to work in teams. This is the ideal option for clubs, sports teams, or homeroom classes! Here's how it works. One member offers to make a donation up to a maximum amount to match donations by others on the team. For example, the Prime Minister (remember her?) could put out a challenge to grad class Members of the Student Parliament, offering to match donations up to (for example) a Bronze sponsorship level of $200. That could mean a total fundraising effort by the Parliament of $400! (Maybe we should sell this idea to Ottawa!) Let's get some inter-club challenges going! IN-KIND AND TARGETED DONATIONS If you think you or your business would rather sponsor a specific activity or make an in-kind contribution, we'd like that too! Want to sponsor the band on Friday night? Table decorations? Refreshments at the school on Saturday? Something else? Just click below and let us know! A list of items that need sponsors is attached at the bottom of this webpage. SILENT AND LIVE AUCTION Auctions can be so much fun and they are a great way to raise money for worthwhile causes. We're planning both a silent and live auction at the Friday Gala. Some of the most popular items are the ones that grads have had a hand in creating – for example, an original piece of art or craft, a service from your business, a piece of long-lost memorabilia, or an offer by the Beta Boys to cook dinner for six.
